Datidis imitatio, dicitur de dictione pluribus verbis idem repetente et quidem ςολοικῶς, proverbio sump to a Datide quodam Persa, qui cum Satrapas esset in Graecia, Graeccque loqui affectaret, dicebat: ἥδομαι, καὶ τέρπομαι, καὶ χαίρομαι, dalector, gaudeo, laetor, pluribus super eadem re cocervatis synonymis, et Barbare posito χαίρομαι, pro χαίρω, ingrato simul sono τῶ ὁμοιοκαταλήκτων.
